Opper AI acquires FinetuneDB

FinetuneDB has been acquired by Opper AI. Our fine-tuning workflow will be integrated into Opper’s reliability stack to accelerate reliable, task-specific agents.

We are excited to share that FinetuneDB is joining Opper AI. Our mission has been to make fine-tuning fast and straightforward. Inside Opper, that work continues with a tighter loop from usage data to tuned models and, ultimately, reliable agents that teams can deploy with confidence.

What’s happening

Opper AI has acquired FinetuneDB, an AI fine-tuning platform to create custom LLMs. Opper is integrating FinetuneDB’s dataset and training workflow into its reliability stack, shortening the path from real-world usage to task-optimized models. FinetuneDB will remain available for a limited transition period, and Opper will communicate any changes directly to customers. FinetuneDB co-founders Felix Wunderlich and Farouq Aldori are joining Opper’s leadership as CGO and CTO, respectively.
